“Dread and Terrible”

So sorry that I wasn’t in the US to see this young Rasta take on the crowd at Central Park. I was fortunate to photograph him for a feature in the @newyorkermag out now. However I can only be in one place at a time. It’s the same answer I have for all those who think I should be saying something about the Palestine/Israel conflict, I am here watching it and hoping for the best. But if I was to say something about the conflict — I would say I am happy for the new generation of JAH soldiers marching forward to chant the message of peace. Voices like Chronixx carry with it the message from a people marginalized and seeking acknowledgement. Chronixx stands on the back of powerful people and sings in the vein of a Peter Tosh. Today I dedicate “in my song” by Tosh to both sides of the conflict, hoping and wishing for some end to the conflict. @chronixxmusic #palestineisraelconflict #oggl_ig #blackportraiture #kingstonportrait #streetportrait #streetphotography #storiesfromtheothersideofparadise #makeportraits #igers #instamood #iphoneonly (at Papine Square)
